My friend turned 18 on Thursday. We went out to dinner in Boston to celebrate with his family. A FUNNY STORY HAPPENED:

So the restaurant is one of those restaurants where they have a dress code and you see famous people at and businessmen go there to cheat on their wives etc. Basically, if you can get a table there, they'll serve you whatever you want. Pretty posh. We get there and me, my friend, his mother and father go to sit at the bar. The two of us are underage, so we order virgin drinks. The bartender serves them in martini glasses and the drinks look like the real deal. Soon the maitre d' comes and shows us to our seats. I finish my drink and this Russian model waitress comes up to me and asks,

"Vould you liike anothahr won of thehs, mess?"

I said yeah and didn't really think about it when she brought me a similar looking drink. I took a sip and good lord entirely vodka.

THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS

Fancy places don't card. Vodka is icky. Their bread was really good there - sort of like biscuits.

I saw Blindness last night. It was the worst movie ever made (I'm not exaggerating). My friends and I were laughing the whole time. The theater was yelling commentary... fabulous.

Started watching Gundam 00. It's the first Gundam series I've ever watched, and I gotta say, it's pretty good. It's like Code Geass only I don't have to suspend my disbelief. I LOVE NO DEUS EX MACHINAS
